It is known for its dedication to the maintenance and development of Epirotic culture in Australia, its passionate championing of the rights of the Greeks of Northern Epirus and plays a prominent role in the life of the Greek community in Australia. PFA AT PSOMIADIS WELCOME DINNER
On 10 November 2008, members of the Panepirotic Federation of Australia attended a dinner at the Thessaloniki Association "White Tower's" premises, to welcome Prefect of Thessaloniki, Mr Panagiotis Psomiadis to Australia. During the dinner, Panepirotic Federation of Australia president, Dimitris Varnas, spoke to Mr Psomiadis about the various Northern Epirotic organisations that are active in Thessaloniki as well as the welfare of the Epriote community in that city. He also provided Mr Psomiadis with a run-down of the activities of the Panepirotic Federation of Australia. Mr Psomiadis pledged his support and expressed admiration at the PFA's insistence upon the maintenance of Epirotic culture.
